COLUMBUS (WCMH)–More than 28,000 people braved a chilly May morning to fight breast cancer in downtown Columbus on Saturday.
The Komen Columbus Race for the Cure wound through downtown Columbus and the Arena District. Supporters raised $1.7 million and counting,
All the money from Saturday’s race goes back to the Susan G. Komen foundation. 75 percent of the proceeds stay right here in central Ohio.
