ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – The holidays can be a stressful time for all of us, especially if you have to fly somewhere. With millions of people taking to the skies to get home, there will be no shortage of tension and frustration.

That’s where this guy comes in. This is Bacon Bits the pig.

He’s getting a job at Albany International Airport with the canine ambassador team. He will patrol the terminal and help keep people calm and smiling.

Somewhat of a local celebrity, he’s even got his own Facebook page which shows he has made appearances at nursing homes and baseball games.

He’ll get his official credentials Wednesday morning and go to work.
