COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A man wanted for burglary and abduction was arrested last night while hiding at a Columbus apartment.
Police said that on September 26, Rusten Martinez Johnson, 26, entered a home on Wespot Drive in Columbus and took his four-month-old son with him.
The child was eventually returned home unharmed, but police said that he did not have custody. He was also wanted for receiving stolen property in a separate case.
Police arrested Johnson Wednesday night after receiving a tip that he was hiding in a near east side apartment. Officers found him hiding in an upstairs bedroom.
