COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A police chase led to an accident near campus Saturday morning.
Columbus Police say officers were in pursuit of a suspect wanted on multiple warrants Saturday morning. According to police, they began following the suspect, who was driving a stolen vehicle, on the city’s west side and a chase ensued. While officers were in pursuit, the suspect crashed the vehicle he was driving, hitting another car at the intersection of Neil Avenue and W. Dodridge Street.
The suspect was transported to an area hospital for treatment for minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
