COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Columbus police are investigating after two bodies were found in a home in a Hilltop area neighborhood.

Police and medics were sent to the first block of Whitethorne Avenue shortly after 4pm Thursday.

According to police, when medics arrived they found two women who appeared lifeless. They were both pronounced dead at approximately 4:20 pm.

The victims have been identified as 56-year-old Sidney J. Campbell and 31-year-old Marie E. Stamp.
