CANTON, Ohio (WCMH) — The Canton Police Department announced via their Facebook page that police K9 Jethro has died from gun shot wounds.

Police said Jethro was shot multiple times during a burglary investigation in Northeast Ohio Saturday. He was originally expected to live, but police said his condition suddenly changed and he succumbed to his injuries.
