Police Launch Tip Line For 3 Missing Women

As the search for three missing women intensifies, law enforcement officials have created a tip line hoping to generate leads in the cases.

According to investigators, the Ross County/Chillicothe Missing Persons Task Force launched the tip line, on Wednesday.

“The main purpose is to find the three missing females,” said Ross County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Mike Preston. “I’m very optimistic that it’s going to get a lot more information coming in. Someone, somewhere in the community knows something.

Within roughly a year, six women have either died or disappeared from Chillicothe.

Investigators continue to search for Charlotte Trego, 29, Wanda Lemons, 38, and Tiffany Sayre, 26.

Trego’s mother, Yvonne Boggs, told NBC4 she is cautiously optimistic about how much information may come from the tip line.

“I have big hopes that somebody comes forward,” said Boggs. “It’s hard to get anyone to say anything.”

The tip line will operate 24 hours a day and callers can reach it by dialing (740) 774-FIND (3463).
