COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The Columbus Police Robbery Unit is requesting the public’s help in the search for two suspects involved in a robbery that took place in Columbus.

On Friday evening, two men entered the Cooper State Bank located at 5090 North High Street in Columbus displaying handguns.

The two suspects ordered the tellers to “Put your hands in the air and don’t hit any alarms.”

The men then split up and each suspect went to a teller where they held the tellers at gunpoint and demanded the money from the cash drawers. Both tellers complied and handed over the cash.

One suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”, 150 to 160 pounds, early 20’s and wearing a navy blue, baggy hoodie and baggy sweat pants. The second suspect is described as a black male, 6’3″, 175 pounds, early 20’s and wearing a black sweat shirt, black and white bandana covering his face, black gloves and displaying a small silver handgun, possibly a revolver.
