COLUMBUS (WCMH)–Police are looking for the “criminal version of ‘Driving Miss Daisy,'” a woman suspected of stealing a 92-year-old woman’s wallet.
Police say the 92-year-old victim had her wallet stolen on Aug. 11 at the Whole Foods Market on Dublin-Granville Road.
The suspect, a white woman, reportedly made two large withdrawals from the victim’s checking account at two different banks. She also used the victim’s credit cards to make purchases at an Arby’s and another restaurant in the Hilliard area. Columbus Police say the suspect is also suspected of committing the same crimes in Dublin.
Anyone with info on who the suspect is asked to contact Det. Reese in CPD’s Fraud/Forgery Unit at 614-645-4751 or rreese@columbuspolice.org.
