COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Interstate 270 southbound has reopened after a police officer’s cruiser was involved in an accident.
According to the Gahanna police, the officer was assisting in clearing a different traffic accident, when another driver struck the officer’s cruiser.
The officer was not injured, but the driver was transported to a local hospital.
The two lanes have been reopened.
