COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Columbus Police are searching for two women suspected of robbing a United Dairy Farmers Saturday night.
Officers say the robbery occurred around 9:40pm at the UDF on the 2600 block of Noe Bixby Road. An employee saw the two women placing several items in a bag in an attempt to shoplift.
The two women were attempting to exit the store when an employee confronted them. The employee told the women to place the items on the counter before going outside to get the license plate number of the suspects’ vehicle.
One of the women then drew a knife and threatened the employee. Both suspects got in an orange Volkswagen Beetle and fled east on Refugee Road.
The first suspect is described as being in her late 30s to early 40s, standing between 5’5″ and 5’7″ and weighing 200 to 250 pounds. She was wearing a black shirt with a white design and denim capris. She carried a large black purse and denim jacket and was armed with a knife.
The second suspect is described as being in her early 20s, standing between 5’3″ and 5’4″ and weighing around 175 pounds. She was wearing a pink towel or shirt on her head, a black t-shirt that said “Messy hair don’t care” and denim capris.
