COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A Southeast Columbus UDF store was robbed by a man who said he had a gun early this morning.

It happened at the UDF at 2660 Noe Bixby Road shortly before 2am.

According to Columbus police, a man walked into the store, went directly to the counter, implied that he had a gun and demanded money.

The clerk gave the man an unspecified amount of money.

Police described the suspect as a whte male in his mid-30s standing 5’5″ and weighing between 130 and 135 pounds. He had dark hair, a thin beard and mustache, tattoos on both arms, a blue baseball hat and a blue t-shirt.
