UNION COUNTY, SC (WSPA) — A woman is facing attempted murder charges after South Carolina deputies say she poured gasoline on her husband and set him on fire.
The victim told deputies he was in the bed when his wife set him on fire. The husband showed up at Union Medical Center around 2:30am with second-degree burns to his neck and back, deputies say.
Deputies say he was taken to the Augusta Burn Center by helicopter.
When deputies went to Hardy’s home on Tinker Creek Road, they found a mattress and bed sheets burned, according to reports.
Lashawn Stevens Hardy, 44, was then arrested on an attempted murder charge, according to the Union County Detention Center website.What others are clicking on:
