FELLSMERE, FL (WCMH) — A Florida woman is facing domestic violence charges for striking her significant other with a belt, police say.
According to police reports, Yessenia Zamarippa struck the victim with a belt across his back because he would not get out of bed and go to work. Officers say the attack left a welt on the victim’s back.
The victim called police who then arrested Zamarippa without incident.
She’s due back in court on March 1.
