COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Has it been a while since you’ve been to the eye doctor? Wednesday through Saturday you can get an eye exam and glasses for free at a mobile eye care clinic.

The program is open to adults and children who don’t have insurance and can’t afford glasses. All you do is show up. You don’t need an appointment. And, in most cases you’ll leave with your new glasses within an hour.

We spoke with a New Albany teen who said she stopped reading a year ago after her sister accidentally broke her glasses. Her family couldn’t afford to replace them.

“I have six siblings. There are seven of us so it’d be a lot, a lot of glasses for a lot of kids!” said McKenzie Tonghee, 13.
