CHILLICOTHE (WCMH) — Ross County officials will announce a new partnership in response to a series of missing and murdered women.
The Ross County Sheriff’s Office said the new initiative, coming on Monday, is aimed at heroin trafficking and related crimes in Chillicothe.
Some of the four women who have been murdered in the area over the last 14 months knew each other from drug rehab facilities.
In total, six women have vanished dating back to last summer. The FBI and Ohio Attorney General are assisting with the investigation.
