NEW CARLISLE, OH (WDTN) – An Ohio man is accused of throwing a Chihuahua from a second story window.
It happened around 8am Monday morning at the Sunshine Apartments in the 2300 block of South Dayton Lakeview Road in New Carlisle, Ohio.
Deputies arrived on scene to find the glass broken from the window where the dog was allegedly thrown from, as well as broken shards of glass on the ground.
The dog reportedly ran from the scene after falling and has not yet been found since. The suspect, Dustin M. Jackson, 28, was found inside the apartment, hiding in a closet, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
Jackson has been charged with Cruelty to Animals and an unrelated warrant for traffic violations. He’s expected to appear in court at 11am Tuesday.
