DETROIT, MI (WCMH) — A shocking shooting was caught on high-definition surveillance video at a Detroit gas station.

The video shows a group of people approach a vehicle that had pulled up outside a Mobil gas station, NBC affiliate WDIV-TV reports. The two groups then began arguing.

A woman is then seen reaching up under her skirt and pulling a gun out from her underwear. Her friends try to hold her back, but she rushes the second vehicle and opens fire.

The driver of the vehicle is then seen running over a man while trying to get away.

Just hours after police released the video to the public, the woman was arrested.

“Someone knew her, and there were people already positioning themselves in the community that wanted to reach out and touch us as soon as they saw her picture,” Detroit Police Chief James Craig said.

Police tell WDIV-TV that the driver of the vehicle was struck several times by gunfire but will survive. One of the woman’s friends was also struck and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The video was taken by cameras set up by the city of Detroit’s “Project GreenLight.”What others are clicking on:
