COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A national skydiving team composed of more than two dozen professional skydivers–Team Fastrax–will be returning to Red, White & Boom on Friday evening.

Two launches are scheduled, sky ceiling permitting, at 8:40 and 9:45 p.m. The first drop will reveal a huge flag, 7,800 square feet, followed by a second drop over Red, White & Boom an hour later featuring pyrotechnics.

Two receivers were installed to that the team can feed live video of the jumps, which you can watch on NBC4.

The new launch site for Red, White & Boom is 600 feet southeast of Veterans Memorial, the previous location starting in 2008. The return to the original site should provide an even more spectacular view of the fireworks display Downtown on Friday evening.
