TUCSON (WCMH)–An Arizona Army sergeant surprised his wife big-time at work after being away in the Middle East for a year.
Sergeant Tyler Mott wasn’t supposed to come back home until May. When his return date got moved up, he couldn’t resist surprising his wife Judith while she was teaching her fifth-grade class on Tuesday.
“We left March of last year is when we actually left and we’re finally back home today, so it’s nice to be home with the family,” Mott said.
“We’re grateful for technology because we were able to Skype a lot, and our son was able to talk to Daddy and see Daddy and blow kisses, that was pretty cool,” Mott’s wife Judith said.
After the work surprise, the couple said they are looking forward to surprising their two-year-old son next.
