DALLAS (WCMH/NBC)–Southwest Airlines flights were briefly grounded Wednesday afternoon due to a planning issue with equipment and flight planning, according to NBC News.

The FAA reports reports the issues refer to its computers.

The airline’s website was down Wednesday afternoon, and some flights are being delayed.

“We are aware and investigating current issues with our systems. We will keep you posted as we have more information to share,” Southwest’s official Twitter account said.

The airline did not immediately clear what systems were down. Representatives for Southwest did not return request for information from NBC News.

The FAA released the following information:

“Southwest will continue to manage their fleet internally while equipment issues are being resolved. Southwest may release their fleet as able however, some aircraft may remain in a stop due to equipment issues.”

As of 4:10 p.m., all Southwest flights out of John Glenn Columbus International Airport are listed as on time.
