COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is dead following a single-car accident on State Route 315 early Saturday morning.
It happened around 3:30am on SR 315 South at Bethel Road. All lanes of SR 315 South were closed between Bethel Road and Henderson Road for several hours while officers investigated the accident.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a 2008 Toyota Camry drove off the right side of SR 315 South and struck a concrete wall at the Bethel Road overpass. The vehicle then traveled across SR 315 and hit a guardrail on the left side of the road before stopping in the left two lanes of SR 315 South.
