The FBI has joined local law enforcement in the search for a couple who went missing earlier this year in eastern Ohio.
Sixty-four-year-old Brian Goff and 55-year-old Joni Davis were last seen June 10 leaving a Pizza Hut restaurant in Bridgeport. Security camera footage showed their car then headed north on Ohio Route 7 along the Ohio River.
Relatives say the Martins Ferry couple followed a strict daily routine, which makes their disappearance even more baffling. Goff became Joni Davis’ caregiver after she suffered a traumatic brain injury.
Belmont County Sheriff’s Detective Ryan Allar says his agency and the FBI are using high-tech “investigative avenues” in the search.
Jackie Davis, Joni’s sister, hopes the FBI’s help will lead to the couple being found.
