CINCINNATI, Ohio (WCMH) — Purchasing a $50 scratch-off at a Sunoco Food Mart led to a $1 million prize for one lucky customer in Cincinnati, according to the Ohio Lottery.

The winner chose the cash option of $500,000 on the 50th Anniversary game and will net $360,000 after mandatory federal and state taxes on the winnings. His alternative would have been to collect $40,000 a year in 25 installments.
