Police in Toledo have released the un-redacted version of dash camera video showing the moments leading up to a fatal officer-involved shooting.

According to WTOL, Toledo Police attempted to perform a traffic stop on a car that was reported stolen when the suspect, identified as Lamar C. Richardson, Jr., 25, fled. A short time later, officers spotted Richardson on a bike and tried to stop him. That’s when police say Richardson pulled out a gun.

“He has that gun, he’s not running, he’s not trying to get away. He’s facing us” Toledo Police Chief George Kral told WTOL. “The officers see the gun, they know he’s had a gun in four different robberies.”

Two officers opened fire on Richardson. He was pronounced dead on the scene.  Richardson was wanted on five felony warrants.
