SUNBURY, OH (WCMH) — No injuries were reported when a car drove into the Sunbury United Dairy Farmers, causing significant damage.

According to firefighters, an elderly woman was trying to pull closer to the store, located in the 300 block of W. Granville Street, during a storm, when she confused the gas for the brake.

The car crashed into the store, and behind the counter.

There were two employees in the store at the time, but no injuries were reported in the incident.

Firefighters say the building suffered significant damage, and the store will have to stay closed until it can be deemed safe again.What others are clicking on:
