ASHLEY, OH (WCMH) – One person was hospitalized and another was arrested after a shooting late Tuesday night in Ashley.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the home on Franklin Street in Ashley around 11pm Tuesday on a report of a shooting.

As deputies arrived, they saw 41-year-old Christopher R. Sidders leaving the home. Inside, a 39-year-old man had been shot.

Sidders was arrested without incident and charged with felonious assault.

The victim was taken by helicopter to a Columbus hospital where he remains.
