Teen in stable condition after southeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus Police are investigating after a teenager was shot early Monday morning in the Linwood area.

Police were called to the 3500 block of Liv-Moor Drive on the report of a shooting around 1:25 am.


Police say a group of people were walking on Courtright Road, when someone in a car fired shots into the group.

A 13-year-old girl was shot in the jaw.

According to police, she was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.

Her age is unknown at this time.
