PERTH, Australia (WCMH) – An Australian man will soon start selling a sandwich that is a cross between a hamburger and a hotdog. He calls it the ‘Hamdog.’

Mark Murray tells news.com.au that he was laughed off of an Australian version of Shark Tank when he presented his idea.

The Hamdog consists of a hamburger patty cut in half with a hot dog placed between the two pieces of patty. It’s placed on a specially made bun that is shaped to hold both pieces of meat.

Murray successfully patented his invention in the United States and is now selling it at fairs and markets in Western Australia. He’s now looking for franchisees.
