Republican Congressman Steve Stivers, a married father of two, has represented this district with urban, suburban and rural populations since 2011. This year, Democratic challenger Rick Neal, also a father of two and a first-time public office-seeker, hopes to unseat him. The two faced off at a debate hosted by the Columbus Metropolitan Club on Friday that at some points became heated. The debate touched on issues like health care, civility in politics, national security, immigration and more.
