COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Riders in the largest grassroots cycling fundraiser in the country are underway.

Cyclists participating in Pelotonia 2016 gathered at Columbus Commons, New Albany, and the Arena District early this morning to have breakfast and hit the road.

Approximately eight thousand cyclists are riding with one goal, to end cancer.

Pelotonia donates 100% of every rider-raised a dollar directly to the Ohio State Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
