MADISON CO., (WCMH) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says I-70 westbound is closed for an accident involving three semi-trucks in Madison County.
The crash is on the Interstate between US 42 and SR 56 near mile marker 75.
One semi-trailer opened when it was struck. Cans of soda and debris cover the roadway in the area.
According to the patrol, one person was taken to an area hospital by helicopter. The condition of that person is unknown.
The interstate will remain closed westbound until the crash can be cleaned up. By 4:20am, one lane of traffic was moving through.
