COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Three Columbus women are wanted for cashing checks that were stolen from Hot Chicken Takeover.

According to Columbus police, more than a dozen checks were stolen last year from the North Market based chicken restaurant.

The checks were cashed at a liquor store near North Park Street and Swan Street.

Police say 22-year-old Emily McGinnis, 20-year-old Jasmine Medley and 22-year-old Mona Lisa Conley cashed the checks, worth thousands of dollars.

Investigators say the suspects are not employees.
