COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)–On Friday, a polar bear cub at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will have her name.
The Zoo is accepting votes on its website until midnight Thursday for what the almost three-month-old female cub should be called.
Here are the four options:
- Desna, an Inuit name meaning “boss”
- Kaya, a native American name meaning “little but wise”
- Nora, a blending of her parents’ names (Nanuq and Aurora)
- Sakari, an Inuit name meaning “sweet”
The Zoo says she receives around-the-clock care and is fed every 4 hours.
