CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (WCMH) – Ohio-Tips from the public have doubled since Monday’s release of information by task force members after Tiffany Sayre’s body was recovered.
A Ross County Sheriff Lieutenant Mike Preston said tips could very well solve these cases of area missing and dead women.
Investigators and neighbors said an area around Bridge and Second Streets in Chillicothe could have played a part in the disappearances and death of all the women.
Both Chillicothe police and Ross County Sheriff’s Office said they will focus increased patrols and covert buys in the area, while the task force focuses on tips and clues.
Angela Robinson said the last she saw her daughter Tameka Lynch, was two days before she went missing, near the same troubled neighborhood.
“There is a big tree where she was standing I said Tameka come here and get in the car get something to eat, she said mom I can’t leave right now. I said get your behind in the car and she said mom I can’t leave now. I got out and hugged her and she said mom you got to go,” said Angela Robinson.

Timberly Claytor, murdered last month near Massieville also lived just blocks away from this intersection. Police said all of the women frequented this area at one time or another.
Neighbors claim the rampant drug problem here is behind too many other crimes.
“Second Street is bad you drive right down the street and see the prostitutes standing out there every night on my way home from work,” said Rebekah Wrightsel, who has lived in Chillicothe her whole life
Lieutenant Preston said keep the tips coming in, they could make the difference in solving these crimes.
“I have noticed since yesterday’s coverage I can confidently say we have got double the number of tips in a 24 hr. period. Those tips we have received have already been passed out to investigators,” said Lt. Preston, Ross County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman.
Preston said if you know anything about these crimes he said you can call the task force hotline at 740-774-FIND.
