COLUMBUS (WCMH) – We love four-legged friends here at NBC4, and we know you do, too! In honor of National Dog Day, which was last Friday, we asked viewers what their favorite dog parks here in Central Ohio are. Here’s what they said:Alum Creek Dog Park
With an enclosed beach and a grassy dog park, you won’t find a dog park that tops this one. Bonus (for the dog): After a good rain, your furry friend will be able to pick the puddle of his choosing to roll in! Don’t worry – there’s a hose available so you don’t have to clean up all that mud at home.Godown Dog Park
Godown Park is another viewer favorite and it’s easy to see why! With a one-acre small dog area and a four-and-a-half acre large dog area, there’s plenty of room for Fido to play! Bound down the winding pathways or rest on the benches – you won’t regret stopping here!Tail Wags Playground
Okay, okay…so it’s not technically a park, but this place is awesome for those days when it’s too hot/cold/rainy/snowy to go outside with your dog. It has spaces for both small and large dogs and plenty of open space, tons of toys and it’s super clean!Scioto Audobon Dog Park
Have a dog you think could complete an agility trial? Head over to the Scioto Audobon Dog Park! It has obstacles your dog can try out, including a teeter-totter! Also, this park provides bags to dispose of your dog’s waste – no need to bring your own.Spindler Road Dog Park
With huge enclosures and a pond for dogs to swim in, you won’t regret a trip to this dog park. If you’re looking for a little exercise yourself, you can always check out the scenic trails around the park!Three Creeks Dog Park
Prefer a more low-key dog park? Head over to Three Creeks! The park itself is huge and it’s not very crowded. People who love this park say that it’s rarely ever muddy there, too.Walnut Woods Dog Park
Well-maintained? Check. Spacious? Yup. Pond for the dogs to play in? You bet! Walnut Woods has all these and more, including shared toys and water bowls. Plus, there’s a covered picnic area for the humans. What others are clicking on:
