Troopers stop mobile meth lab on US 23 near Marion and Delaware County line

DELAWARE COUNTY. OH (WCMH) — A lane of US 23 south was closed Friday afternoon after troopers stopped a mobile meth lab.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers stopped a vehicle along US 23 south near State Route 229 shortly after 2pm Friday. Troopers said the driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.


Chemicals used to make meth were found in the trunk, according to troopers.

US 23 south had one lane closed while troopers called for help removing the chemicals.

One person was taken into custody.
