CDC releases guidelines for Halloween, trick-or-treating

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The CDC has released a set of guidelines that it says offers several safe, alternative ways to participate in Halloween. 

The CDC says these lower risk activities can be safe alternatives:


These activities are considered moderate risk:

These activities are considered high risk:

“If you may have COVID-19 or you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you should not participate in in-person Halloween festivities and should not give out candy to trick-or-treaters,” recommends the CDC.
