CINCINNATI, OH (WCMH) – Kroger is warning customers about a fake coupon offer that is going around the internet.

The fake coupon being found on social media offers $250 off a shopping trip to Kroger. The company says it is not an actual promotion. 

“This giveaway is not affiliated with or supported by the Kroger Company. We recommend not engaging with the site or providing any personal information. Our team is actively working to address this issue,” Kroger said in a statement. 

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
