RICHWOOD, OH (WCMH)– Deputies in Union County are investigating after a Richwood man was killed in a crash Friday night.

According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, at about 7:50pm, Friday, emergency crews responded to the 27,000 block of state Route 37 on the report of a crash.

When deputies arrived on scene they found a 2002 Volvo S-60 that had driven off the side of the road, struck a catch basin and a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, 60-year-old Bill R. Ferguson, or Richwood, was taken by helicopter to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
