DELAWARE, OH (WCMH) —  The Ohio State Highway Patrol along with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office conducted an OVI checkpoint on U.S. 23 Friday night between 9pm and 1am.

According to a release 953 vehicles traveled through the checkpoint zone, and 351 of those vehicles were checked.

Authorities said five people were arrested for OVI, one person was arrested on a misdemeanor drug charge, and one person was arrested on a felony charge of receiving stolen property.
