COLUMBUS (WCMH) – Police say someone left a sticky mess of tomatoes, eggs and chocolate syrup at several Columbus high schools overnight.
The damage was first reported at Marion Franklin High School shortly after midnight Thursday.
Police say someone hit the front of the school with eggs and chocolate syrup.
Similar damage was also reported at Independence High School, Eastmoor Academy and Walnut Ridge High School.
All four schools are in east or southeast Columbus.
A person cleaning the mess at Marion Franklin said there was tomatoes, eggs, chocolate syrup, ketchup, salad dressing, toilet paper and other items spread throughout the outside of the school.
