COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus Police are investigating after a woman was hit by a car early Thursday morning.
Police and medics were called to the area of E Livingston Avenue and Barnett Road around 2:45 am.
Police say a driver struck her with their vehicle and then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.
The incident is under investigation. Police say they are looking for a gray, older model, four-door sedan with a broken windshield. They say it may be a Toyota.
Livingston Avenue was closed both directions from Barnett Rd. to Coburg Rd. for hours, but has since reopened.
