Victim in stable condition after shooting near Livingston Avenue

COLUMBUS (WCMH)– Columbus police are investigating a shooting in southeast Columbus from early Wednesday morning.

Police received a call around 12:45 am saying someone’s friend had been shot.


Police arrived on scene to find a victim in the 900 block of Fairwood Avenue.

The victim had been shot in the arm and was transported to Grant in stable condition.

Police on scene said they believe the victim may have been shot somewhere else and then moved to the location where they were found.

Fairwood Avenue from Livingston Avenue to E Kossuth Street was closed during the investigation.

The incident is under investigation.
