PORTLAND, OR (WCMH) — Nora the polar bear is celebrating her first “bear-thday” at the Oregon Zoo.
She was born Nov. 6, 2015 at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and moved to Oregon in the summer so she could bond with another polar bear. Nora’s mother rejected her shortly after her birth, and she was hand-raised by Zoo staff in Columbus.
The Oregon Zoo shared a birthday video on their social media page Sunday (click here if you can’t see it play below)
The Columbus Zoo shared a birthday video on their page, as well, and said the young bear is bonding well with Tasul, the older polar bear at the Oregon Zoo.
Happy birthday, Nora!
