MILWAUKEE, WI (WCMH) — Police are searching for the 17-year-old suspect who escaped from the back of a police van while handcuffed.
Video shows the back of the police van spring open and the suspect jump out and run down the street.
“That’s crazy because i thought you couldn’t get out of the inside of a police vehicle,” the woman who recorded the video told WITI.
Milwaukee Police say the suspect had been arrested for stealing a car, and that officers are still searching for him.
