PHILADELPHIA, PA (NBC News) — At one point, the mob of teens even attacked an officer’s horse.

The video shows a random series of mob attacks near the Temple University campus.

Security camera video shows a group of as many as 100 teens walking around the north Philadelphia campus Friday night, attacking students, police and even a police horse.

According to police, the mob attacked a number of students, beating and robbing them.

Two police officers were also assaulted and a police horse was punched in the face during the chaos.

Investigators say it all started on social media with a call to meet up at a local theater, but so many showed up they couldn’t get in.

So instead, they split off into groups and began walking the streets causing trouble, according to police.

At least four teens were taken into custody, and the school says it is investigating the incident.
