NEW YORK (WFLA) — Video taken on a New York City Subway train has the Internet crawling.

The footage, recorded by Antony Lin, shows a man sleeping. Recorded around 3 a.m., the video reveals a rat making its way up the sleeping man’s neck.

When the man wakes up and discovers his fellow passenger, he shrieks.

Lin told NBC New York he recorded the video in the last car of the train early Sunday morning.

“I had my phone ready to film the rat since it was huge and the fact that it ended up inside the subway,” Lin said. “It’s just insane and disgusting overall to see that. I’ve seen it on the tracks and platform, but never inside the train.”What others are clicking on:
