PHOENIX, AZ (WFLA) – A fast-moving dust storm rolled through Phoenix, Arizona area Sunday, NBC reported.
While the dust moved across interstates 10 and 8, visibility was reported down to a quarter of a mile or less, according to NBC. The caused highway traffic delays.
The wind gusts reached about 40 miles per hour. the National Weather Service issued a warning for the entire Phoenix metro area and some neighboring communities.
The storm caused several ground stops at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
