WASHINGTON D.C. (NBC) — While most who live in Washington D.C. were staying inside…one of the city’s most celebrated residents was out in the snow.
The big daddy of the giant pandas at The National Zoo seemed to be enjoying the snow.
Tian Tian is 19-years-old, weighs 264 pounds and is a father, but he is still playful.
Cameras at The National Zoo caught him [Saturday] sliding down hills and frolicking around in his enclosure.
Some even said he was making “snow angels.”
The zoo is actually closed to visitors because of the massive snowfall in Washington, so we haven’t heard if the younger panda boys have joined their father outside for a big snowball fight.
